How to Join a Lync Meeting

Simply follow these steps to join a Lync meeting:

Step 1. 

Open the email meeting invitation from your computer, laptop or tablet device, and click on "Join Lync Meeting".




This will launch your web browser (Supported browsers: IE, Chrome, Firefox) 

Step 2.

Type in your name and select "install Lync Web App Plu-in".

Step 3. 

When the installer warning displays select "Run"





Allow Lync Web App plug-in





 

You will be placed in a virtual lobby until the meeting presenter admits you into the meeting. 

If you are prompted with a firewall warning for the Lync Web App, click "allow access".





You're good to go!
